Dinner at the Hepburn’s

February 23rd, 2009

Pasta with Chicken
Salad
Cheese Bread

Gavin was eating his pasta and bread. Then, he saw Mommy put red salad dressing on her salad. He wanted some on his pasta. We had the discussion that salad dressing is only for salad. Gavin ate half a plate of salad with a little bit of red salad dressing. Silly Boy!

Not at the dinner table

February 6th, 2009

I am sitting on one side of the table… all 3 boys are on the other side (Bingo was on Scott’s feet). There was a sound that was unidentifiable. I looked at Scott, who immediately denied the noise. I asked Gavin if his belly was making noises. He responded with, “No, that was my butt pooping”. I lost it! Gavin lifted himself up from his booster and farted again. This time with a big grin! Scott, of all people, did not laugh, he just explained to Gavin that we don’t do this while we are eating.

FYI… He was not even dirty.

B-I-N-G-O and Bingo was his name-o

February 6th, 2009

Gavin got his brand new puppy last night, and I think he’s doing GREAT! We’re still trying to settle on a name for him, but I think Gavin is good with Bingo and it works much better than his first idea which was Black-White. I just couldn’t see my self yelling that down the street. Here are a few pics, and I’m sure we’ll have more very soon.

New family addition…..today

February 5th, 2009

We’re headed out in a little while to grab a new addition to our family. We are getting a puppy. I’m pretty sure I remember just not long ago saying, “No pets!”. But who can resist a little boy asking his mommy for a basket of puppies? We’ll keep everyone posted in the coming days.

Smart Kid

Conversation between Scott and I this morning with input from Gavin…

Scott – Are you almost ready?
Michelle – Yeah, just have to dry my hair.
Gavin – Not yet, mama. Not yet.
I looked over the railing…
Gavin – Show not over.

He did not get to see the end of his show. We told him he could finish it when he got home tonight.

Gavin’s observation meets Scott’s addiction…

February 1st, 2009

Scott had just gotten home from the store, walked into the kitchen, and Gavin says, “Got coffee, Daddy?”
Scott was holding a Starbuck’s cup of coffee in his hand. I cracked up. He is funny… well, both of them are funny.
