Back to Daycare

September 14th, 2009

Today was Gavin’s first day back to daycare. He has been going to work with me for the last 6 months. I was not sure how he would do and… he did fine. He was crying when I left, but stopped crying by the time I got to the front door. He will do just fine and I know that he will have a great time. He will have lots of fun with his new friends. As we left today, he was waving and saying, ‘Bye, friends’.

Mommy, however, missed him… Lots! I kept looking at the clock… 9:30 – snack, 11 – lunch, 12 – nap, 2:30 – snack, and 4:00 – time to pick up my baby! I expect that I will have withdraws a lot longer than he will!

Dirty Boy

Gavin took his John Deere tractor outside and found some dirt! The dirt, also found Gavin! We hosed him down outside and stripped him naked. He is now in a warm bath with some new bath toys. He had a good day!
