It is such a nice night out. Scott got out Gavin’s telescope and they went outside to see the moon. Scott got it set up and Gavin just was not sure. Then, he wanted to see the stars. Scott was having a little trouble with the telescope and Gavin says, ‘What does the box say? Where is the box? This is terrible.’
Gavin, tell us how you really feel! My suggestion to Scott – you should test this out next time.

We bought new tennis shoes and sandals yesterday… Size 9! The last pair of shoes that we bought were 7′s.
We bought tie tennis shoes… Gavin wants to learn to tie them by himself. He started working on it last night.

Gavin told me that he was a beautiful princess… Uncle Eric is a beautiful princess, too!

We let Bingo stay in Gavin’s room during nap time. We were not sure how long Bingo would stay in there, but he was cuddled up with Gavin for over an hour. Bingo is the best dog!

Chalee got Uncle Scott a bear for Christmas. That darn bear was trying to eat my barbeque chicken!

This is why Daddy should not be allowed to take Gavin to the Auto parts store…

Gavin has acquired a lot of Legos. And, I am ok with that. You can see the wheels turning in his head when he is playing with them. Watching and listening to him play is a whole new experience as he gets older.
Gavin and Scott had some Lego Time on Sunday.

Ouch! That hurt!
I believe that if the Colts would have played the second half… We would have won.
But, we ate good! That is really what it is all about… Good food and beer. We went to a friend’s house and had tons of food (We could have fed a third world nation!). So, here is what The Hepburn Family contributed…
Pizza Balls and Chocolate Balls… both are easy to make and both are finger foods.

Gavin takes this seriously… Brushing his teeth. He has beautiful little ‘teefers’ and we want to keep them that way!
Check out the faces he is making…

We have been working on cleaning out the garage. We have thrown things out, dropped off paint and batteries to the ToxDrop, made a few trips to Goodwill, and sold our old washer and dryer. Scott and I built a workbench and bought a shelving unit for storage last weekend.
Scott and Gavin moved and arranged lots of screws, tape, manuals, and smaller misc items. Then, Gavin put together bolts, washers, and nuts for Daddy. He was paid a penny a piece. He got to count out 11 pennies and put them in his car ‘piggy’ bank. He was very proud. Gavin said that he is going to ‘work’ some more today for more money.

Gavin was super-excited about his snack of string cheese and a meat stick. Silly kid!
